1. Introduction

MemoKids is an educational memory game created by Monkey Games Studios for children and families.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the MemoKids mobile app and related website. MemoKids is designed to provide a safe, simple and age-appropriate experience for children.

We do not ask children to create an account, enter their name, email address, phone number, precise location, photos, contacts or messages.

2. Children’s Privacy

MemoKids is designed for children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The app does not include user accounts, chat, social features or user-generated public content.

Some technical information may be processed by trusted third-party services used for advertising, analytics, purchases, crash reporting and app performance. These services are described below.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us at any time if they have questions about privacy or want to request review or deletion of data associated with their child’s use of MemoKids.

3. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

MemoKids does not directly request or collect:

• Child name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Home address

• Precise GPS location

• Contacts

• Photos or videos

• Voice recordings

• Calendar data

• Messages

• User account credentials

4. Information That May Be Collected or Processed

MemoKids may collect or process limited technical and usage data through the app and third-party SDKs.

This may include:

• Approximate location, such as location estimated from IP address

• App interactions, such as app launches, taps, gameplay interactions, ad interactions or screen activity

• Gameplay and progress-related events, such as level starts, level completions, minigame activity or reward activity

• Purchase history related to the optional Remove Ads purchase

• Crash logs

• Diagnostic information

• App performance information

• Device or other technical identifiers, such as app instance identifiers or installation identifiers used by SDKs

We use this information only for purposes described in this policy.

5. Advertising

MemoKids may show ads through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads and supported mediation partners.

Because MemoKids is directed to children, ad requests are configured for child-directed treatment where applicable. We do not use advertising to intentionally profile children or show behaviorally personalized ads to children.

The current Android build is configured not to request the Android Advertising ID permission:

com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID

Advertising SDKs may still process limited technical information such as approximate location, app interactions, diagnostic data and device or app identifiers for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency control, analytics, fraud prevention and security.

MemoKids does not allow ads to replace the core gameplay experience, and purchases are available to remove ads.

6. Analytics

MemoKids may use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage and improve the game.

Analytics may include aggregated or technical events such as:

• App start

• Level start

• Level complete

• Minigame start

• Minigame complete

• Sticker unlock

• Purchase-related events

• Ad-related events

We do not use analytics to collect a child’s name, email address, precise location or contact information.

7. Crash Reporting and Diagnostics

MemoKids may use Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, errors and stability problems.

Crash and diagnostic reports may include:

• Crash logs

• Device model

• Operating system version

• App version

• Technical diagnostic data

• Performance-related data

This information is used to fix bugs, improve stability and maintain app quality.

8. Purchases and Parent Gate

MemoKids includes an optional Remove Ads purchase.

Purchases are handled through Google Play Billing and Unity IAP. MemoKids does not receive or store payment card numbers, banking details or full payment credentials.

Before starting a purchase flow, MemoKids shows a Parent Gate so that a parent or guardian must approve access to the purchase flow.

Purchase history may be used to:

• Activate Remove Ads

• Restore Remove Ads

• Verify entitlement status

• Prevent fraud or accidental entitlement loss

• Understand purchase funnel performance in aggregate

9. Local Data Stored on the Device

MemoKids may store some gameplay and settings data locally on the device, such as:

• Game progress

• Stars

• Stickers

• Avatar selection

• Audio settings

• Remove Ads entitlement state

This local data is used to make the game work correctly and preserve progress. It can usually be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

10. Data Sharing

MemoKids may share limited technical data with trusted service providers only when needed to operate the app, show ads, process purchases, measure app usage, detect crashes, prevent fraud or improve performance.

These providers may include:

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads

• Google Firebase Analytics

• Google Firebase Crashlytics

• Google Play Billing

• Unity IAP

• Unity Ads mediation, where applicable

We do not sell children’s personal information.

11. Data Security

We use trusted third-party services and reasonable technical measures to help protect data. Data transmitted by the services used by MemoKids is generally encrypted in transit.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to use reliable services and minimize the information processed by the app.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

MemoKids does not create user accounts.

Local progress and settings data may remain on the device until the app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us to request information, review or deletion of data associated with their child’s use of MemoKids. Because MemoKids does not create accounts, we may need limited information to identify the relevant app installation or request.

MemoKids may include links to external pages, such as this Privacy Policy. External links intended for parents may be protected by a Parent Gate.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites or services. Parents should review the privacy policies of any third-party services they use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, services, legal requirements or platform policies.

When we update this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
